Happily did an extra shift this morning, bit of a long lie and finished at 1pm. Rosewell and John Jack's garage was one of my stops.

Fantastic view at entrance of Poltonhall Ind. Est. on route to Pitstop North garage. So high up, I always get a touch of vertigo.

Wednesday

Not much to report on the blog today. Mum's birthday and made her a nice teapot cake, but it was a rush to get it delivered and work, so sorry, no photo. . .  next time.
Out and about in Midlothian, flowers at the Cockpen roundabout, where a motorcyclist died on Saturday, shame.
The sun was shining in Loanhead, Rosewell, Bonnyrigg, Newtongrange and Dalkeith, makes a nice change!
Met another driver in the corner shop in Rosewell, so always useful to have contact with fellow drivers.
Hopefully more to report tomorrow.

Cakes and work

I'm hoping to write a blog about my daily travels out and about in Midlothian delivering car parts for Eskside Motor Factors. There are some fantastic views and I'm seeing things and places I didn't know existed. Hopefully, I'll learn some things about the local history as I drive around, and maybe even sell some cakes too. This is a picture of Gibby's birthday cake, maybe I'll have to do some more car related cakes for my Eskside customers?
